“Living computer” was placed in an incubator, which supplies the cells with liquid with nutrients, maintains a stable temperature, as well as protects from viruses and microorganisms.

According to the researchers, neurons still live no more than a hundred days, but they are able to grow new ones instead of dead ones.

The creators have already launched the biocomputer as an online platform where scientists from all over the planet can remotely experiment with living neurons. About 30 universities are already interested in this technology.
